CAREER: Signed with the Arizona Cardinals following NFL Draft on April 28...Selected finalist for Cliff Harris Award (Small College Defensive Player of the Year) and nominated for the Harlon Hill Trophy as DII Player of the Year in 2017...named to five All-American teams as a senior in 2017 at USF, leading Cougars to the playoffs...was named first team All-NSIC and NSIC Defensive Newcomer of the year in 2017...four-time all-league performer, including three times to the All-Mountain East squad...named honorable mention as freshman; first team all conference as a junior and second team all conference at a senior. at West Virginia State..in four years Gardeck finished his career with 345 career tackles, 57.5 tackles for loss, 32 sacks, nine forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and an interception...had 11 games with double digit tackles.

2015: Named first team All Mountain East after registering 102 tackles, including 48 solo stops...had 22.5 tackles for loss (15th in DII; 39th across all levels), eight pass breakups, three forced fumble, an interception and a fumble recovery...recorded three games with double digit tackles, including 16 tackles vs UVA-Wise (10/3)...had 14 tackles vs. Charleston (9/26) and 13 tackles vs Glenville State (10/24)...had nine tackles three other games...registered career-best three sacks vs Urbana (9/12)...had two sacks vs Charleston (9/26), UVA-Wise (10/3) and Glenville State (10/24).

2014: Named honorable mention All Mountain East as redshirt freshman after registering 102 tackles, including 48 solo stops...had 22.5 tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, three forced fumble, an interception and a fumble recovery...recorded eight tackles in a game five times with a season best nine tackles vs. Fairmont State (9/27).

HIGH SCHOOL: Named All-Fox Valley Conference, All-Area at Crystal Lake South...was a linebacker for the Gators...earned second team all conference honors as a defenseman in LaCrosse.
